Benefiting RSVP Programs 

Digital Technology Training - Many disadvantaged and at-risk populations in Greater Philadelphia lack the essential skills to safely and effectively use technology. This digital gap has led to severe isolation, educational barriers, food insecurity, and limited access to healthcare, employment and vital community resources. This program offers training to bridge the digital divide.

Family Literacy - Volunteer readers expose Head Start preschoolers to books and reading; parent literacy workshops offer intergenerational support. The Lucky Readers Club and companion materials is a home and school reading incentive program designed by RSVP. 

Elementary Literacy - Trained volunteers coach elementary school students with reading challenges so they are reading on level by grade 4. Early intervention programs prevent students from getting too far behind.

My Free Tutor - Math and science tutors use an interactive web application to help underserved school students 3rd through college, and veterans, increase their skills (STEM)

STEM Career Awareness - STEM professionals make interactive school presentations throughout the Greater Philadelphia area to introduce students to exciting career pathways in math, engineering, sciences and the trades.

PA Medi - Trained volunteers provide free, unbisased Medicare information to seniors and caregivers, increasing access to care and helping seniors save money so they can afford food and essentials.  

Volunteer Executive Consultants (VEC) - Volunteer consultants provide free consulting services to existing and potential nonprofit organizations to help fulfill and sustain their missions. 

IMPACT: 2,900 children - 6,807 adults and seniors - 535 nonprofits
